A recent study by the National Center for Education Statistics found that nearly 40 percent of transfer students get no credit for previously completed work, losing an average of 27 credits apiece (nearly a full year’s study). This is not only incredibly frustrating for students but also a waste of valuable time, energy, and money.

As a solution to this problem, I founded California Southern University. CalSouthern has a long-standing commitment to help students transfer credits from other colleges and universities. There are no time limits at CalSouthern, and credits never expire. You took the classes, and you deserve the credits. We believe this policy helps students achieve their personal and professional goals and reduces the time and financial burden of pursuing a higher education degree. CalSouthern accepts up to 90 credits at the bachelor’s level (the maximum allowable by law); 6 credits at the master’s level; and 30 credits at the doctoral level.

Please contact an admissions advisor today at admissions@calsouthern.edu to discuss ways CalSouthern can help you maximize your transfer credits and achieve your educational goals.

We invite your comments and hearing your experiences with transferring your college credits.
